Samsung’s Galaxy S24 series has officially arrived, bringing three flagship smartphones to the market. Samsung has kept the overall design of both devices very similar to the previous generation. The Galaxy S24 features a 6.2-inch display, while the Galaxy S24+ comes with a larger 6.7-inch screen.
The S24 remains one of the few compact flagship smartphones available today, making it ideal for users who prefer a smaller and lighter device. On the other hand, the S24+ offers a much bigger display, almost approaching the size of the Galaxy S24 Ultra, while still being lighter than the Ultra model.
Both phones share the same premium build quality, including Armor Aluminum 2 frames for improved durability and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protection on both the front and back. They also feature IP68 water and dust resistance, ensuring strong protection against everyday elements.

Samsung continues to use its Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays on both devices. These panels support up to 2,600 nits of peak brightness, ensuring excellent visibility even in bright sunlight.
Both phones now include LTPO technology, which allows the refresh rate to dynamically adjust depending on the content being displayed. This improves power efficiency and ensures smooth performance when scrolling or gaming.
However, there is one major difference in resolution.

Performance
Both phones are powered by the latest flagship chipsets, depending on the region. Users may get either the Exynos 2400 or Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, delivering strong performance for gaming, multitasking, and AI-powered features.
Samsung is also promising seven years of software updates, making the S24 lineup one of the most future-proof Android devices available.
Battery and Charging
The Galaxy S24 comes with a 4,000 mAh battery, while the Galaxy S24+ features a larger 4,900 mAh battery, which is close to the capacity of the S24 Ultra.
Charging speeds also differ slightly:

- Galaxy S24+: 45W fast charging
In testing, the S24+ charges faster overall, reaching about 74% in 30 minutes, while the standard S24 reaches around 59% in the same time.
It’s also important to note that Samsung does not include a charger in the box, so users will need to purchase one separately.
Audio and Speakers
Both smartphones include stereo speakers, with one bottom-firing speaker and the earpiece acting as the second speaker. The sound quality and volume levels are very similar between the two models, delivering strong audio performance for media and gaming.
