The information comes from well-known Chinese tech tipster Digital Chat Station, who shared the details on Weibo. While the post didn’t reveal specific benchmarks, it hinted that the next-generation Adreno GPU will deliver impressive gaming capabilities.

According to the leak, the new GPU inside the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will be capable of running Genshin Impact smoothly at native 1080p resolution.
Genshin Impact is widely known as one of the most demanding mobile games, often requiring users to reduce graphics settings or resolution even on flagship smartphones to maintain stable performance. If the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 can handle the game smoothly at full resolution, it would mark a noticeable step forward in mobile gaming performance.
Development Ahead of Schedule
The report also suggests that development of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is progressing faster than expected. Because of this, Qualcomm is reportedly planning to introduce the chip shortly after China’s National Day on October 1.
