Apple is planning to introduce titanium frames in the iPhone 15 Pro models, marking a departure from the traditional stainless steel frames. This shift in materials aligns with their emphasis on introducing new color options
In July, our collaboration with Unknownz21 unveiled a fresh dark blue hue designated for the iPhone 15 Pro. During that period, we mentioned Apple’s experimentation with a silver-gray option and a space black variant. Now, 9to5Mac has reported that Apple is also planning to introduce a new dark blue color, expanding the color palette to include silver, space black, and a natural titanium shade, potentially named “Titan Gray.”
Contrary to 9to5Mac’s prediction of a dark red shade for the iPhone 15 Pro, Apple has opted for cooler tones, and there won’t be a gold option available for the iPhone 15 Pro or Pro Max this year.
Apple has consistently included gold as a color option for its Pro iPhones, primarily due to its popularity in regions like China.
As reported by 9to5Mac, the regular iPhone 15 models are expected to be available in black, green, blue, yellow, and pink, which aligns with previous rumors regarding the color choices.
Our initial glimpse of the available colors for the iPhone 15 series will likely occur in September, as there are speculations of an Apple event scheduled for Tuesday, September 12.
