A new AI chatbot feature on Instagram allows creators to respond to followers
Instagram is now testing a new tool called “AI Studio,” which lets users create AI versions of themselves. The tool is presently accessible as a “early test” to a limited number of producers and users in the United States, according to a recent announcement made by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg on his broadcast channel.
Zuckerberg said that AIs based on interests and creators they love may soon appear on Instagram for eligible users. He stated that “they will primarily appear in messaging for now and will be clearly labelled as AI.”
The CEO of Meta provided multiple instances of interactions with AI-driven creative chatbots during the programme. He said that in order to create the initial iterations of these AI chatbots, Instagram worked with Don Allen Stevenson III and the authors of the meme account “Wasted.”
With the ability to engage with the community and reply to messages on their behalf, these AI chatbots are helpful for creators who have a large following.
Instagram creators can initiate discussions with users by using the ‘Message’ button, according to Zuckerberg. Users will be informed that the communications are artificial intelligence (AI) generated and can be unsuitable or erroneous.
The name of the creator will have a prefix of “AI” and a suffix of “beta.” According to Zuckerberg, Instagram has been collaborating closely with qualified creators to create these chatbots, which assist them in responding to frequently asked queries from their fans.
AI Studio, a platform that lets business owners construct AI-powered chatbots for messaging apps like Facebook Messenger, Instagram, and Messenger, was introduced by Meta last year.
