Week 10 of 2026 was packed with major tech announcements. While Mobile World Congress 2026 was expected to dominate the headlines, Apple managed to grab much of the spotlight with several new product launches. Alongside Apple’s announcements, brands like Nothing Technology and Infinix also introduced interesting new devices.
iPhone 17e Officially Announced
Apple revealed the iPhone 17e, which serves as a modest upgrade over the iPhone 16e. The device is powered by a slightly toned-down version of the Apple A19 chip and introduces the new C1X modem, promising improved network connectivity.
Another notable change is the storage configuration. The phone now starts at 256GB, eliminating the 128GB option found in the previous model. Despite the increased base storage, Apple has kept the starting price at $599, making it a better value option for buyers. The iPhone 17e is scheduled to start shipping on March 11.
Apple Introduces New Chips and iPad Air
Apple also announced a refreshed iPad Air (M4), powered by the powerful Apple M4 chipset. Along with the tablet, the company introduced its new high-performance processors: the Apple M5 Pro and Apple M5 Max, which are expected to power upcoming professional Mac devices.
MacBook Neo: Apple’s Most Affordable Laptop
One of the most interesting announcements from Apple was the MacBook Neo, which is designed to be the company’s most affordable MacBook yet.
The MacBook Neo is also notable because it’s the first MacBook powered by an A-series chip, the Apple A18 Pro. The laptop features a 13-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2408 × 1506 pixels, a 60Hz refresh rate, and a 3:2 aspect ratio, which is a first for a MacBook.
The device includes a Magic Keyboard that doesn’t come with Touch ID by default, though users can add it as an optional upgrade. It ships with 8GB of RAM and offers 256GB or 512GB storage options.
Other features include:
- Two USB-C ports (USB 3 and USB 2)
- 3.5mm headphone jack
- Dual speakers
The MacBook Neo comes in several colorful finishes including Silver, Blush (pink), Citrus (yellow), and Indigo (blue). Pricing starts at $599 / €699 / £599 / ₹69,900, and shipments will begin on March 11.
Infinix Note 60 Ultra Launch
Meanwhile, Infinix launched the Infinix Note 60 Ultra, a device designed in collaboration with the famous design studio Pininfarina.
The phone features:
- A 200MP main camera
- A massive 7,000mAh battery
- A large Gorilla Glass Victus camera island
- A matrix-dot display and red LED digital taillight on the back
The device will debut in Malaysia, starting at MYR 3,000 for the 12GB RAM + 512GB storage model.
Nothing Phone (4a) and Phone (4a) Pro
Another big announcement came from Nothing Technology, which introduced the Nothing Phone (4a) and Nothing Phone (4a) Pro.
The Phone (4a) Pro features:
- A metal unibody design
- A slightly larger 6.83-inch display
- 144Hz refresh rate
- Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip
- A bigger Glyph lighting interface on the back
The standard Phone (4a) keeps the brand’s signature semi-transparent design and includes a smaller Glyph bar.
Interestingly, both phones share similar camera setups. The Phone (4a) will go on sale starting March 13, while the Phone (4a) Pro will be available from March 27.
Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra Camera Detail
Finally, the review of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra revealed an interesting camera change. Unlike its predecessor, the phone does not use a periscope lens for its 5x telephoto camera. Instead, Samsung switched to a traditional lens design without a prism structure.
This design change brings two notable differences. The minimum focusing distance increases to 52cm, which is roughly double that of the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. However, the new lens produces more natural circular bokeh highlights, avoiding the rectangular shapes commonly seen in periscope lenses.
Overall, Week 10 brought a wide range of exciting announcements across smartphones, laptops, and processors, showing that 2026 is shaping up to be another big year for technology innovation.
